Interactive tools

Whether it's apps or web-based tools, I've got plenty of award-winning experience in creating interactive projects, from a simple quiz to a fully-animated, interactive information-mapping tool with back-end data entry.

User centered design (UX)

Back in the '90s before 'UX' was even invented, computer games companies were making their products intuitive to use and fun to play. I was one of those turning good ideas into great games.

Team Leadership

Thanks to my officer training in the RAF, my leadership skills were learnt from the experts. I'm good at picking the right people for the job and building, leading and inspiring teams that deliver far more than the sum of their parts.

People skills

I'm good at understanding people. My intuition often means I know what they're thinking before they know themselves. I'm an excellent presenter or 'front of house' person and add credibility to any pitch or presentation.

Marketing

All that I've done since 1987 has had a marketing focus to it, whether it be brand management, product management, PR, e-marketing, or just 'plain old marketing'. Like UX, figuring out the best marketing angle is as natural as breathing.

Websites

I am good at intuiting what you as a client/ company require, even if you're not sure yourself. I translate this into a prototype website to user research, review and amend. I then manage developers to turn this into reality.

Content design

From the latest GDS-based principles informing healthcare content to good old-fashioned 'mind-blowing, adrenalin pumping action' of computer games, I can write advertising 'blurb' or web content that's concise and easy to read.

Photography / video

Ok, so I'm no David Bailey, but if you need above average digital photography skills, get your UX/interactive tool/marketing specialist to create some images at the same time. I can also storyboard and direct videos.
